This was another card from from our Angel meeting on August 13th.  I designed it for my good friend, Jen Andeway who is scared of real spiders.  But she did like the pretend ones on this card.  I used a retired alphabet set and the retired stamp set Boo Bash from The Angel Company.  I used a simple gray piece of cardstock measuring 4-1/4 x 11 inches and folded it at 3-5/8 inches and again at 9-1/8 inches.  I tore the edge off the longer fold and added a strip of black cardstock for added interest.  I used a black stamp pad to blacken all the edges of the card.

The inside of the card has this cute little message.  It is really cute card that is really simple to make.  Enjoy!

I had a blast yesterday stamping with my friends and fellow TAC team members.  My wonderful up-line/mentor, Marisa Alvarez, was in town yesterday.  She met with me and my team member, Darcy Cooper, along with two of my dearest friends for stamping, training and encouragement.  It was a wonderful day and we got so much accomplished.  Our projects were Halloween themed.  I will be showcasing them over the next few blog, twitter and facebook page entries.

This card was one of my projects. 

I absolutely LOVE this hostess set, One of a Kind.  I couldn’t resist making her into a little monster.  The inside of the card says, “Happy Halloween”.  I also used the spider from Happy Haunting.  And added Stickles to the spider and her hair bows to make them stand out.  I colored her in using Copic Caboodle markers.  You just have to try these markers.  I never liked to color with markers until I got my hands on these.  They blend so beautifully.

I made this card today using left over cardstock and patterned paper pieces.  I have all these little scraps lying around that I just can’t bring myself to throw away.  So I thought I would try a simple and easy design to help me clean out my scrap box.  I also wanted to use gray and black in a non-traditional gray and black sort of way… in other words, non-Halloween.  So this is what I came up with.  It is a card you can do in under 10 minutes with just the scraps you have lying around.

I used The Angel Company stamp sets Sprigs and Unexpected Joys.  I stamped the leaf sprig first three times in Charcoal Palette Ink then again in Noir Palette Ink.  I hi-lited the sprigs stamped in black with Stardust Clear Gel Pen.  I stamped the images on Confetti cardstock then layered them on gray and black DCWV cardstocks.

I made this darling little card last night, several in fact.  I had to give one to my mama and my daughter who both adore pigs.  My daughter especially loved the piggy’s earrings.  I haven’t heard my mama’s comment yet as it hasn’t arrived to her yet.   She’ll probably see it here first.

I used The Angel Company’s stamp set  When Pigs Fly and colored it in with set A of the Copic Caboodle  markers.  I finally got a set LOVE them.  I should have gotten them sooner.  They are so versatile and the blender pen is the best.

To add the finishing touches I used ice Stickles around her glasses, self adhesive rhinestones for earrings and a Stardust Gel Pen to accent her boa.

Here is a cute card if you need some inspiration for some last minute valentines.  I used the stamp set Little Darlins from The Angel Company and embossed cardstock from DCWV’s Sweets Stack.  I added glitter to the owls’ bellies and the hearts.  Simple, cute and so easy to make.

I made this sweet little Valentine’s Day card using the stamp sets “Something’s Fishy“  and “Heart-itude” from The Angel Company.  I entered in the Red Hearts Challenge at Caardvarks.blogspot.com even though it only has one red heart.  I just love the way this card turned out.  I stamped the images on white cardstock  and colored them with colored pencils.  I added cystal Stickles to the fins and heart and mounted them with double stick tape to the aqua colored cardstock.  I adhered it to the card front with Pop Dots.

What makes this card unique is the unusual fold.  It is an 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 inch piece of cardstock.  I scored it at 2-1/2 inches from the top and then 1-3/4 inches from the bottom and folded them toward each other.  I adhered a 2-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of patterned cardstock to the top section of the card.  This fold still makes a standard 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch card.

The inside sentiment is the cutest, if I do say so myself.  It would make a great card for your perfect “catch”, a boyfriend or husband that likes to fish, or your girlfriend that needs encouragement in the love department.    The possibilities are endless.  If you don’t want to take the time to make this yourself, you can purchase it in my Etsy store.

I entered this invitation in a design challenge for Hope Stamps Eternal.  Great blog!  You should check them out.  They have tons of cute stuff.  This card was easy to make.  I layered the patterned paper over the card base and stamped 3 cupcakes on the white panel.  I stamped one additional cupcake, cut it out and adhered it in the middle using pop dots to give the card added dimension.  I colored them all with colored pencils and added crystal Stickles for a little sparkle.  I stamped “You’re invited”, but you can stamp any sentiment you choose under the cupcakes.
